Support ASGCLA Programs and Events

The Association of Specialized, Government, and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASGCLA) is seeking support to increase the impact of our programs and events. The events at the ALA Annual Conference, Midwinter Meeting and throughout the year provide professional growth for ASGCLA and ALA members. Even as ASGCLA has consolidated and economized, the division needs additional support to provide the meetings, events, awards program, mentoring programs, and networking social events.

The ASGCLA Sponsorship-Programs form describes the benefits to your organization for supporting ASGCLA at the Supporter, Advocate, or Sustaining levels. ASGCLA will provide prominent display and recognition of the help you give. Accessible document found here

Depending on the activity and level you select to support, your assistance will help defray the expenses, such as audiovisual, signage, printing, and in some cases speaker expenses for programs at Conferences, including the ASGCLA President’s Program. For the ASGCLA Mentoring Program, support will cover mentees’ Annual Conference registration fee (often for a first-time attendees). The ASGCLA Achievement Award Recognition, includes a networking continental breakfast at the special event honoring ASGCLA members and to individual or organizations who provide services to underserved populations.  And the ASGCLA Happy Hour social support would provide complimentary appetizers as members network and strengthen ties with colleagues and new acquaintances.

Thank you for considering support for ASGCLA. For more information, contact Ninah Moore, nmoore@ala.org
