Working Remotely

Many of you are working remotely, and just as busy as ever.  For those who need a break, ALA and some units are offering free professional development opportunities. Look at the Pandemics Preparedness page / Professional Development. ASGCLA is also working to present a new webinar for free during the summer (watch for details).

ASGCLA will present a new webinar for free on April 24. Join us for Using Your Library’s Virtual Presence to Reach Users with Disabilities.

ASGCLA  Committees and Interest Groups can still schedule meetings while members are working remotely. The tools of Connect groups and listservs are available at all times. Conference calls and Zoom meetings are available to be scheduled at convenient times.  For virtual meetings by teleconference (voice conference call), or by Zoom, visit the “For ASGCLA Members” section of ASGCLADirect.org/Resources.

Contact ASGCLA with questions or advice on using the virtual tools. If needed, a practice or rehearsal time can be scheduled for using zoom or the other tools.
