The second year of ASGCLA’s Mentoring Program began during the Annual Conference in Washington DC. The participants met for a Meet and Greet and for an informal luncheon. In 2019-2020, there are eight mentee/mentor pairs who will explore professional growth, insights, and skills.
To continue this valuable program next year for current and potential ASGCLA members, we need ASGCLA mentors willing to discuss their unique work environments and issues. Consider passing along the enthusiasm and challengers of work in State Library Agencies, Federal Libraries, Armed Forces Libraries, Library Cooperative Agencies, Libraries and Library Agencies serving the underserved, or offering Library Consulting services. Check out the ASGCLA Mentoring Program page and watch for a call for mentors for 2020-2021.
